Agatha is the a 100 year old witch. Barely surviving the Salem Witch trials, she moved to Pender Island in hopes of finding isolation. She was married to Maverick and they had a daughter together, Ambrose. Maverick, however, had an affair with Belinda and the couple divorced. Maverick has since married Belinda and they live on a neighboring island, Maine. In the aftermath of the divorce, Agatha had a one night stand with a human; it resulted in her son Axel. Agatha is desperate to keep her identity as a witch a secret in fear that she will be killed otherwise.
